There’s something about “soft skin babe” that feels half-remembered, like a dream that you were warped into a fantasy anime with a succubus demon... That’s kind of where Thien Dragon sits with this one: somewhere between softness and distortion, dark romance and noise.

Sonically, it lands in that same emotional lane as bands like Deftones, in how it treats feeling as texture. The vocals feel close, almost whispered at times, while everything around them swells, glitches, and breaks apart. There’s also that chaotic, internet-bred edge you hear in Femtanyl, fast, digital, slightly unhinged, but pulled back just enough to keep it intimate instead of overwhelming.
The video matches that energy. It’s hazy, tactile, a little disorienting. Skin, light, movement, everything feels slow motion with an anime opening or outro kind of energy. It doesn’t try to over-explain itself, which is what makes it work. It just exists in its own mood board.

What’s hitting here is the balance. It’s pretty, sexy, intimate, & there’s tension underneath. The color pallette leans towards red and blue hues, exaggerated with glitchy textures and 3D animations looping into the world of Chaos Garden.

“soft skin babe” feels like a step deeper into Thien Dragon’s world, one that’s less about genre and more about atmosphere. The kind of track that makes sense alone at night, but would probably hit even harder in a dark room with blown-out speakers.
If you’re into that Deftones + Femtanyl style emotional weight mixed with newer, glitchy electronic energy, this one’s easy to sit with.
