What inspired “Hello Kitty Cutie”?
The beat was originally called QT just a cute, optimistic instrumental. Kind of like electronic pop with bright, bouncy energy. I actually tried for a while to find a vocalist to collab with, but that didn’t play out. I felt a little defeated... but I kept jamming it in the car like, “This still slaps.”
Then while driving and listening to the song I kept humming "She's a hello kitty cutie..." and i couldn’t stop hearing it. It felt like a ringtone from 2003 or something you'd hear whispered in a dream after binging anime all night. I've alway been heavily inspired by Hello kitty I just felt like it needed a song so I made it into reality. Hyperpop meets Hello Kitty.
I’ve always been into Sanrio vibes. Back in 2017 I made a card game called Bite Me Cutie, inspired by Animal Crossing and Sanrio characters. So this aesthetic's been living rent-free in my head for years. I wanted to twist that super cute innocence into something with breakcore beats. It’s playful, but it’s got bite.
How would you describe the video’s vibe?
Honestly? It’s my take on the Chobits anime opening. I saw Chobits when I was like 12, and the intro always felt like it was about love and connection. I wanted to remix that vibe for the 2020s, with glitch overlays, rave edits, brainrot, and all the pixel-sweet chaos that lives in my brain now.
Is there a real “Hello Kitty Cutie”? Or is she a symbol?
Oh, she’s real. All the cuties with Hello Kitty accessories, the ones who rave, cosplay, collect plushies, dance in their bedrooms, and love anime. The pink, lavender, pastels, the gays, the theys, the Harajuku-core, they exist, and they complete me. That’s the energy this song is dedicated to.
In this video Jen The Feral Anime Vixen @jentheferalanimevixen plays the main lead as Chii from Chobits. She's the Hello Kitty Cutie. We also got Katy Johnson @kanidayofficial anime voice actor to join the project as the Dream Unit voice heard in the intro and the outro. Glad they came together to make this music video happen, super blessed.

Where does this track fit in your evolution as an artist?
I’ve really looked up to artists like A. G. Cook, Charli XCX, Bladee, Brakence, Kmoe, Dorian Electra, honestly, the list goes on. I listen to their music all day, every day. This track feels like a step toward finding my own voice as a producer. I’m finally at a place where I can make things in Ableton that actually sound fun and make me happy.
Earlier this year I dropped the Thien Dragon - 3000s album, which was a fun experiment but definitely felt like a prelude. My next project is called Chaos Garden. It’s gonna be an immersive Y2K dreamworld. It’s glitchy, it’s poppy, it’s emotional, like a corrupted save file from a better version of windows 2000s. Like what if frutiger was real and wasn't just an internet thing. Chaos Garden will be like an escape from reality into this 3D world with fun high energy boppy electronic noise and cores.

What do you want people to feel when they watch the video?
Like they just got hit with a glitter bomb in the middle of a mosh pit. Laugh, blush, play it on loop. If it makes you want to text your ex or dance alone under a streetlight, nice i relate.
